I was going to feel ways about it but since most of the Gawker traffic comes from the areas getting pounded by this storm it only makes sense to tailor stories about driving in the snow and hey...it could be worse...at least they put them all in one place instead of spreading it out.

Being from the snowstorm capital of Buffalo, NY, I watch snowstorms in the south with wide-eyed amazement at how people and infrastructure pretty much implode.

I’m not even in the South. Central TX- it’s a big deal when we have ice on the ground that lasts past 10AM. It’s not so much that our infrastructure implodes- it’s just cheaper to shut everything down for half a day than to have the equipment to deal with it.
